Thank you for checking out my profile my call is M6KQK Paul age 49 I have been licensed since 05/10/2017 I passed my foundation on the 25th September 2017 I started off on CB radio around the early 80’s and then moved to 11 meter ssb band where i enjoyed working the world and collecting many qsl cards and making many friends around the world, Now that I have moved to the HF bands i have given up on 11 meters now and I am enjoying the HF and uhf hopefully i will go up on my next level away from the foundation one day ,my location is the City of Leeds South Leeds West Yorkshire I am about 436 feet above sea level I Live with my partner Debbie age 30 and two daughters Hannah age 12 and Poppy age 4, I was originally from Liverpool birth place of the Beatles but moved to Yorkshire about ten years ago and loving it I like to SWL and also work DX on -> 10,15,17,20,40,60,80,and 2&70cm I do like to QSL so feel free to ask for my QSL card or eqsl My Radio equipment is the Yaesu 891 and the M0CVO HW-42HP wire Dipole antenna Sloper, Yaesu 8900-R and the vertical Collinear for 2 and 70cm plus the home made dipole for 60 meter band and my last antenna is a Solarcon 99 tuned for 10 &12 15 & 17 meters My third set is the old president Lincoln mark 1 just for 10 meters dx , My time away from Radio i do like to watch football as i am a very keen Everton fan Sometimes i do travel from Leeds to Liverpool to follow them when they are playing at home followed by plenty of beers before and after the game also i love spending my time with the family going out on plenty days out or holidays with The partner and children !.... i do like to Read plenty of criminology books and i also like watching sport Boxing footall snooker .
